Getting started
How do I invite my agents?
Sign in, go to Agents, click Invite agent, and enter their name and email. They get an email with a one-time link. They click it, set a password, and land in your branded portal.
How do agents access the tools?
After accepting your invite, they sign in at your portal URL (retools.io/portal/your-business-name). Every tool they generate is co-branded with your details and theirs.
How do I update my brand colors, logo, and headshot?
Sign in and go to Branding. Upload your logo and headshot, set your primary brand color, and every tool run picks them up automatically.
Credits & billing
How many credits do I get each month?
Cohort members get 100 credits per month, refreshing every billing cycle, with unlimited agent seats. Standard plan members get 200/mo and Unlimited plan members get 500/mo.
What does each tool cost in credits?
- Thumbnail creator (default model): 1 credit
- Carousel creator (default model): 1 credit
- Headshot generator: 2 credits
- Title optimizer: free
- Tools using GPT Image 2 (premium model): 2 credits
Each tool shows the credit cost on its page before you generate.
Will I be charged anything?
If you signed up as a DAI Cohort member, no. Your access is $0/mo as long as your DAI Pro membership stays active. Stripe captures a card on file in case the cohort perk is ever removed, but no charges run while your cohort coupon is in place.
What if I run out of credits?
Buy a top-up pack from Billing. Two options:
- 100 credits for $25 ($0.25/credit)
- 500 credits for $99 ($0.20/credit, 20% off)
Each pack has a one-time Buy once button and a Buy + auto-renew button. Auto-renew charges your card on file the moment your credit balance hits zero, so tool runs never block. Turn auto-renew off anytime from the same page.
How do I see my usage?
Usage shows every generation, who triggered it (you or one of your agents), and how many credits it cost.
Can I see what my agents are generating?
Yes. Usagefilters by agent, and the portal shows recent activity. You see every asset they generate, since you're hosting the platform for them.
Account & access
My invite email never arrived.
Check your spam or promotions folder first. If it's genuinely missing, email [email protected] and we'll resend it.
My access code says "invalid."
Cohort access codes are one-time use. If you (or someone else) already signed up with that code, it won't work again. Email us and we'll generate a fresh one.
I forgot my password.
On the sign in page, click Forgot password?. We'll email you a reset link.
What happens if I cancel my DAI Pro membership?
Your cohort perk ends at the same time. Your RE Tools subscription rolls to the regular Unlimited price ($97/mo) at your next billing cycle unless you cancel that too. You can cancel anytime from Billing→ Manage billing.
How do I cancel?
Sign in, go to Billing, click Manage billing. You land in Stripe's Customer Portal where you can cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep access until then.
Something's broken
A tool failed to generate.
Try again first. AI providers occasionally hiccup. If it fails a second time, email [email protected]with the tool name, what you typed in, and the time it failed. We'll check the logs and refund any credits charged on a failed run.
The site won't load.
Check our status page first. If we're showing as down, we're already on it. If we're showing as up but you can't reach the site, it's likely an issue with your network or browser cache. Try an incognito window. If it's still broken, email us.
I found a bug.
Tell us. Cohort beta is the right time to surface anything off. Email [email protected] with a screenshot if you can. Most beta-period bugs get fixed within 24 hours.
